I’ve always had a strange fascination with the art of forming words into coherent thoughts, whether online or offline, through the written or spoken word. There’s just something unusually enjoyable and thrilling to me in the simple act of typing or speaking. We have a palette as large as the English language and can pick and choose words that place thoughts or trigger emotions in the other person. That’s mind-blowing to think about!

It’s for that same reason that I get more and more worried about the eroding ability of people my age and younger to communicate in the real world.
